MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
- To ensure that all equipment, plant, building, and services always remain functional to their original state in the safest and most cost-effective way
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
- Perform technical jobs within the Locality
- Perform administration duties within the technical function
- Identify and mitigate technical risks within the Locality
- Coordinate work performed by on-site contractors within the Locality
- Maintain client and stakeholder relations within the technical function
REQUIRED EDUCATION

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION:
- Grade 10 or equivalent technical vocational qualification
DESIRED EDUCATION:
- Grade 12
ESSENTIAL CERTIFICATION
- Driver's license
DESIRED CERTIFICATION
- Mediclinic Technical Assistant Development Programme
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
- 5 years' experience in building maintenance and repair (skilled) or Mediclinic qualified (Mediclinic Technical Assistant Development Programme)
DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
- n/a
REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Skills and knowledge of building maintenance issues
- Fault finding and troubleshooting
- Planned maintenance according to set Mediclinic standards
- Occupational Safety, Health, and Environment (e.g. OHS and ISO)
- Ability to read layout plans and diagrams
- Skills and knowledge of general equipment repairs
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
