    Head of Controlling SEA

    Your role:

    This person is a key business partner, providing robust and insightful decision support to Business and Finance Management, to support delivering on objectives, both operational and strategic.
    This is a regional role that focuses on the SEA (South-East Africa) cluster. The main focus countries are South Africa, Kenya and Angola. The main responsibilities will be to develop and maintain a Business Performance tracking framework including reports such as P&L &WC. Drive P&L management with a focus on accurate Sales Forecasting, cost control and resource allocation. You will also run the Planning and Forecasting processes.

    You will also engage with Business Stakeholders, with the objective to build insight into key business drivers and tactics, to identify opportunities and support solid business case preparation.
    You will support the business to meet the operative plan and will have a good understanding of the pharma market specificities. You will be willing to take ownership of your work and challenge the status quo. Meet deadlines and deliver high quality and timely financial actual, budget and accuracy of forecasts.
    Being flexible, have a can-do attitude and have the ability to work under pressure are key to this role.

      

    Who you are:

    • Hold a university degree in Economics / Finance with 7 plus years’ experience in financial reporting and business controlling
    • Experience in Pharma/Biotech /Medtech environment preferred
    • Outstanding analytical skills and strong execution track records
    • Advanced financial modelling skills (Excel)
    • Knowledge with regards to ERP/Consolidation tools (SAP, Oracle, Scala, TM1 or similar)
    • Fluent English required
