You will be doing the following:

• Leading a multidisciplinary engineering team
• Setting up the team for success
• Innovate new ways of working
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, Engineering Managers to make sure there is a clear vision and strategy in place for teams
• Building a strong Engineering culture that supports the long-term vision of the business

The ideal person will have:

• Experience in a startup- non-negotiable, working in a fast-growing team of Developers, Product Managers and Designers
• High Emotional Intelligence and ability to build relationships across the business
• Demonstrable experience growing high performing development teams quickly, and improving productivity
• Experience managing distributed teams across multiple offices, as well as experience managing Managers
• Deep experience implementing engineering, management and process best practices within a fast-growing team
• A depth of technical acumen
• A “bigger picture perspective”
