Are you someone who pushes the limits of what’ possible and has the desire to develop and grow?. A Client, a leading global FMCG company has an exciting opportunity for a seasoned GCC qualified Engineering professional to manage the day to day maintenance operations at their Food manufacturing plant in Cape Town.

You will lead a dynamic Engineering and Maintenance team in developing and implementing an effective planned preventative maintenance system for the plant as well as to oversee major repairs of breakdowns. Your project management experience will be essential to strategize capex focus so as to reduce plant down time and improve efficiencies of machines and lines. Financial Management skills are required to manage costs, ensuring lowest cost of production and the optimal utilization of assets.

A GCC factories, degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and at least 6 to 10 years maintenance engineering experience within a FMCG food or beverage manufacturing industry is required.  You must have strong experience driving Continuous Improvement (CI) and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives.
