Overview

The Head of Finance will be ultimately responsible for the full finance function .As the senior finance role player for the business unit, the individual is expected to contribute to the attainment of the Group’s business objectives by providing strategic and financial guidance to ensure that the business unit's financial commitments are met, and by implementing all necessary policies and procedures to ensure the sound financial management and control of business

Requirement and Experience

• A qualified accountant with a minimum of 8 year’s relevant experience
• Ability to provide finance business partner support to other non-finance business heads
• Experience in negotiating and interacting with Third Parties at a senior level
• Experience building business plans, forecasts and budgets
• Experience in and working knowledge of income tax, VAT and CGT principles

Skills and Competencies

• Strong interpersonal, writing and presentation skills;
• Required knowledge of accounting and finance related principles
• Working knowledge of IFRS accounting and the ability to critically review and analyse annual financial statements
• Knowledge of Corporate finance and law knowledge and experience is an advantage
• Cash flow and credit control management
• Windows based accounting packages, including multi-currency, multi-company, and multi-jurisdictional environments
