Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the full control of the financial and management accounting department
• Responsible for ensuring the delivery of accurate and timely reporting
• Responsible for the formation of a strong financial control function
• Responsible for streamlining and improving existing systems, processes and procedures
• Responsible for the development of a solid internal control function

Requirements:

• CA(SA) qualified or similar professional qualification
• Solid technical skills with respect to financial accounting standards
• Solid technical skills with respect to fundamental financial accounting functions
• Candidates must have exposure to a Shared Service Centre function
• Candidates must have skills in or willing to up-skill themselves on SAP
• Experience in having implemented a SSC function highly advantageous
• Experience having implemented a strong financial control function in a complex environment highly advantageous
• Preference will be given to Employment Equity candidates
