Head of Finance at Snatch.work

• A fast-growing technology company transforming the financial services industry is currently seeking a Head of Finance to join their team in Cape Town.
• As Head of Finance, you will oversee all financial activities, build robust systems and frameworks, and ensure continuous access to accurate and timely financial insights that enable data-driven strategic decision-making. You will play a key role as a strategic partner to senior leadership while leading and developing a high-performing finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead financial planning, analysis, and reporting to support strategic and operational decisions.
• Oversee accounting, invoicing, debtor/creditor management, and ensure integrity of financial data.
• Manage cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and financial risk monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, financial policies, and statutory requirements.
• Provide timely, relevant, and accurate financial insights to the executive team, board, and investors.
• Drive continuous improvements in financial systems, processes, and controls.
• Lead, mentor, and grow the finance team, ensuring alignment with company values and objectives.

 Qualifications and Experience:

• CA (SA) with +7 years of post-article experience 
• Experience working in high-growth businesses and partnering with senior leadership.
• Strong track record in financial strategy, reporting, and risk management.
• Background in SaaS or technology-driven environments is a plus..
• Leadership experience with proven ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
