Responsible for leading the manufacturing plant with a strong focus on safety, quality, resource, delivery, and productivity across all processes. Key Responsibilities :
Lead the planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of operational systems, procedures, and policies to maximize workforce productivity and operational efficiency.
Designing and optimizing the organizational structure and management systems for the manufacturing site, ensuring alignment with business objectives and operational excellence.
Partner with executive leadership and clients to support strategic decision-making related to contracts, operations, and service delivery.
Direct plant operations planning and performance management to achieve production, quality, cost, and delivery targets.
Oversee compliance with HSE standards through audits, emergency drills, safety training, inspections, safety walks, and on-site controls, ensuring adherence to corporate procedures and regulatory requirements.
Lead hazard identification, risk assessments, incident investigations, and near-miss analysis while promoting a proactive safety observation culture to reduce operational risks.
Drive a continuous improvement culture across the plant by implementing Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and operational excellence initiatives, supported by KPI tracking and performance metrics.
Monitor and improve plant KPIs related to productivity, quality, safety, delivery, and cost performance.
Ensure uninterrupted production flow through effective coordination of supply chain availability, materials planning, and operational resources.
Standardize manufacturing processes to improve safety, quality assurance, operational consistency, and process reliability.
Collaborate with Human Resources to develop talent, strengthen team capabilities, and implement workforce engagement and succession strategies.
Implemente cost-reduction and efficiency strategies focused on minimizing downtime, reducing waste, and improving overall plant profitability.
Promote a strong culture of safety, accountability, and employee well-being across the organization, ensuring active participation in HSEQA programs, incident reporting, and corrective action processes.
Maintain close coordination with commercial and sales teams to align production priorities with customer demand, order pipelines, and changing business requirements.
What you bring:
Qualification: Engineering or any operations related qualification
10 years’ experience in manufacturing– preferable from a heavy industry and Rubber industry.
English speaking, with the ability to lead global meetings.
