    Purpose of the role

    • To ensure that accurate binning, picking, receiving, and packing of the FLSmidth product is being successfully executed according to standard operating procedures

    Key performance areas:

    • Reading and interpreting pick and pack slips to ensure speedy quality delivery to customers.
    • Set up and or operate hand and electrical tools.
    • Regularly inspect equipment and perform preventative maintenance.
    • Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained and adhered to at all times.
    • Assist the department manager in achieving departmental goals and objectives.
    • Attend to all meetings as scheduled by the company and department.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
    • Comply with OHS Act, Quality Control Procedures, and Product Specifications.
    • Daily cycle counting and stock taking as and when required.
    • Correct allocation of bin locations and binning of stock received.
    • Receiving of deliveries.
    • Unpack and place part numbers on received stock.
    • Filling in of Bin Cards.
    • Daily Cycle counting.
    • Binning of Stock.

    Requirements:

    • At least 5 years' experience in a relevant fast-paced environment.
    • Matric.
    • Computer literate.
    • Forklift license will be an advantage.
    • Must be willing to work overtime.
    • Crane license will be an advantage
    • Good computer skills.
    • Good communication skills in English.
    • Declared Physical fit to handle heavy-duty e.g. lifting up to 25kg regularly and 45 kg occasionally, pushing, pulling, standing for long periods of time, and manual dexterity.

    Repair Specialist

    • The Repair Specialist (Sales & Solutions) is a customer-facing role focused on driving repair service sales and co-developing tailored repair solutions with customers. This role combines commercial ownership with technical expertise to maximize equipment lifecycle value, reduce downtime, and grow. 
    • The specialist acts as a trusted advisor, proactively identifying repair needs, shaping solutions collaboratively with customers, and converting opportunities into sustainable business growth.
    • You will be part of the Chloorkop Service Centre Team under the Repair Business, who are dedicated to executing repair services for our customers. By joining this team, you will have the chance to work in a multinational organization and in an environment involving different cultures and different challenges.

    Your responsibilities

    • Build long term partnerships by deeply understanding customer operations, maintenance strategies, and production challenges.  
    • Position repair services as a strategic lever to improve reliability and performance.  
    • Own and drive the sales of repair services, including component repairs, upgrades, refurbishments, and lifecycle solutions.  
    • Develop and execute short- to medium-term sales plans focused on growing repair revenue and increasing service penetration.  
    • Identify, qualify, and convert repair opportunities across the installed base.  
    • Drive cross-sell and upsell of consumables, spare parts, and service agreements linked to repair activities.  
    • Collaborate directly with customers to diagnose issues and co-develop optimized repair solutions tailored to their operational needs.  
    • Conduct site visits and technical assessments to identify failure modes, improvement opportunities, and lifecycle extension strategies.  
    • Translate customer requirements into customized repair scopes, balancing cost, performance, and turnaround time.  
    • Handle objections by leveraging strong technical knowledge and competitive positioning.  
    • Ensure smooth handover and collaborate on the follow-up of repair orders to guarantee delivery quality and customer satisfaction.  
    • Monitor repair performance, turnaround times, and customer feedback to continuously improve offerings.
    • Travelling 50% of the time to client sites and identifying new repair business in collaboration with the field service and sales teams .

    Head of Rubber Manufacturing

    Role Overview

    • Responsible for leading the manufacturing plant with a strong focus on safety, quality, resource, delivery, and productivity across all processes. Incorporates environmental responsibility as a core value, ensuring sustainable operations while delivering the highest quality products (rubber and mill liners). Acts in full alignment with the company’s strategy, supporting decision-making related to clients and contributing to overall business planning. Closed with the Community

    Key Responsibilities : 

    • Lead the planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of operational systems, procedures, and policies to maximize workforce productivity and operational efficiency.
    • Designing and optimizing the organizational structure and management systems for the manufacturing site, ensuring alignment with business objectives and operational excellence.
    • Partner with executive leadership and clients to support strategic decision-making related to contracts, operations, and service delivery.
    • Direct plant operations planning and performance management to achieve production, quality, cost, and delivery targets.
    • Oversee compliance with HSE standards through audits, emergency drills, safety training, inspections, safety walks, and on-site controls, ensuring adherence to corporate procedures and regulatory requirements.
    • Lead hazard identification, risk assessments, incident investigations, and near-miss analysis while promoting a proactive safety observation culture to reduce operational risks.
    • Drive a continuous improvement culture across the plant by implementing Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and operational excellence initiatives, supported by KPI tracking and performance metrics.
    • Monitor and improve plant KPIs related to productivity, quality, safety, delivery, and cost performance.
    • Ensure uninterrupted production flow through effective coordination of supply chain availability, materials planning, and operational resources.
    • Standardize manufacturing processes to improve safety, quality assurance, operational consistency, and process reliability.
    • Collaborate with Human Resources to develop talent, strengthen team capabilities, and implement workforce engagement and succession strategies.
    • Implemente cost-reduction and efficiency strategies focused on minimizing downtime, reducing waste, and improving overall plant profitability.
    • Promote a strong culture of safety, accountability, and employee well-being across the organization, ensuring active participation in HSEQA programs, incident reporting, and corrective action processes.
    • Maintain close coordination with commercial and sales teams to align production priorities with customer demand, order pipelines, and changing business requirements.

    What you bring:

    • Qualification:  Engineering or any operations related qualification
    • 10 years’ experience in manufacturing– preferable from a heavy industry and Rubber industry.
    • English speaking, with the ability to lead global meetings.
    • Desirable: Lean manufacturing knowledge.
