Job Description

• A dynamic group operating within the motor vehicle business sector is seeking an energetic, eager-to-learn Chartered Accountant to join their head office team.
• The head office is responsible for group financial analysis, statutory financial reporting, and various projects, reporting to executive leadership and the board of directors.

Responsibilities:

• Draft quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Assist with audit preparation.
• Prepare accounting schedules.

Prepare consolidations.

• Prepare related party schedules and reconciliations.
• Participate in special projects as required.
• Perform basic Pastel processing and reconciliations when necessary.

Qualifications:

• BCom or equivalent qualification.
• Completed accounting or audit articles.

Skills:

• Proficiency in CaseWare Working Papers (essential).
• Intermediate MS Excel skills.
• Experience with Pastel/SAGE for general processing and extracting reports.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with accounting software packages.
