Role and Responsibilities

• Participates in the design, development, enhancement and testing of Hyperion applications in accordance with requirements and business processes.
• Serves as the primary point of contact, system advocate, and subject matter expert for the
• Hyperion financial management system.
• Provides support for ongoing major projects in Hyperion financial management (finance and nonfinancial).
• Participates in cross-functional projects working closely with the Finance team as a subject matter expert (SME) for the Hyperion suite, including non-financial department.
• In addition to the administrative duties associated with this role, the position is also responsible for gaining an understanding of the business to identify enhancement and efficiency opportunities to the Hyperion suite and proactively take the steps necessary to see them through to Production.
• Provides ongoing support of the Oracle Hyperion Financial Data Management Enterprise Edition (FDMEE).
• Builds working relationships with the financial and non-financial Reporting and Business Analysis
• teams to which they support, along with the internal and external IT resources that support these systems.
• Educates and work with end-users to train in Hyperion use (including Smart View etc.).
• Coordinates with systems management, infrastructure, and external consulting teams to implement patches, system upgrades, maintenance releases and application backups.
• Develops test plans and documentation to demonstrate compliance with corporate and IT governance practices.
• Manage multiple vendors (including SLA drafting, price negotiation and performance assessments) and hold vendors accountable to SLAs
• Provide user support to the group and tracking of logged calls on the service desk
• Ensure maximum ‘up time’ of HFM system.

Experience

•  5 years + experience in Hyperion financial management
•  Oracle Hyperion financial management
•  Experience in project management and solution analysis
•  Experience in new HFM implementations

Educational Requirements

•  Bachelor level qualification
