    Human Resources Administrator

    About the job

    • The HR Administrator shall provide administrative support to the Human Resources department by maintaining employee records, onboarding processes, coordinating HR documentation, social and wellness initiatives. This role plays a key part in supporting day-to-day HR functions and fostering a well-organized, efficient HR environment.

    General HR Administration

    • Manage all HR administrative tasks, filing, and records (manual and digital).
    • Enter and maintain employee data in Sage 300 People and other internal systems.
    • Coordinate HR events, meetings, and employee communications.
    • Strong Support ER (Employee Relations), Recruitment, training. 

    Culture & Employee Engagement

    • Champion and promote a positive company culture aligned with business values.
    • Support culture-building initiatives, including employee recognition programs and engagement surveys.
    • as a culture ambassador by driving inclusive workplace practices and open communication.
    • Assist in planning and implementing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives. 

    Onboarding & Induction

    • Manage the end-to-end onboarding process, ensuring new employees have a seamless transition into the company.
    • Conduct orientation sessions, introducing company values, policies, and key contacts.
    • Work with managers to create structured onboarding plans for new hires.
    • Gather feedback from new employees to continuously improve the onboarding experience 

    Probation Management

    • Monitor probation periods and ensure check-ins happen at key milestones (30, 60, 90 days).
    • Support managers in conducting probation reviews and providing structured feedback.
    • Assist in managing probation outcomes, including confirmations, extensions, or terminations, pension forms completion and sent to pension provider. 

    Performance Management Support

    • Assist in the coordination of performance review cycles, ensuring timely completion.
    • Support managers with setting KPIs and performance goals for employees.
    • Provide administrative support for performance improvement plans (PIPs).
    • Maintain accurate records of performance discussions and feedback sessions. 

    Social & Wellness Initiatives

    • Plan and coordinate employee wellness programs, including mental health awareness, etc
    • Organize social events and team-building activities to enhance employee morale.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to drive initiatives that support wellbeing.

    • Knowledge of HR Administration

    • Strong empathy and interpersonal skills
    • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
    • Attention to detail and analytically driven 

    Minimum Job Requirements

    • Grade 12 or equivalent
    • National Diploma/Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Management or related field
    • 3+ years experience as an HR Assistant or related position 
    • Sound K=knowledge of Sage 300 People system 
    • Computer literate –Google Suite, Word, Outlook & Excel
