Industrial Designer/Project Manager at VF!

Job Duties

• Provide sales support (technical selling) - Provide the sales team with steer on best suited manufacturing approaches, cost estimates and innovative solutions to customer problems.
• Ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, in full, without errors and on budget
• Managing all prototyping, production and quality control functions.
• Liaising with, and performance management of, all 3rd party suppliers
• Liaising with clients on project requirements and progress
• Managing the logistics and installation functions on projects
• Accurate project administration including project finance management

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of Industrial Design Engineering with Project Management experience
• Qualification and/or experience in Industrial Design, Production Management, or Mechanical engineering
• Experience dealing with clients and colleagues at senior levels
• Experience dealing with 3rd party sub-contractors and bespoke manufacturers
• Knowledge of metal, wood, plastic, cardboard manufacturing processes
• Sound technical ability
• Able to read engineering drawings 
• Experience in multi-phase rollout projects
• Project financial acumen

In addition, the following will be an advantage but not essential:

• Relevant experience in a BTL agency, point-of-sale manufacturing or similar industries
• 3D Modeling experience in Solidworks 
• Ability to create engineering drawings
• Experience working with Zoho would be advantageous
