• Act as the intermediary between business and IT & Innovation delivery teams.
• Fulfil a cross-functional role by engaging and facilitating effective communication flow between business units.
• Provide progress and status reporting to all stakeholders.
• Obtain proficiency in operational systems relevant to projects to a level that assists with problem solving & solution design.
• Obtain specialised knowledge of areas within the business with an aim to become a subject matter expert.
• Leverage available tools & platforms for enhanced solutioning.
• Follow the lean project methodology to co-ordinate project activities.
• Design processes with the purpose of increasing productivity, eliminating waste, saving time, reducing costs.
• Innovate around problems to develop solutions that are smart, scalable, cost-effective & maintainable.
• Identify impactful business optimisation opportunities.
• Apply the standardized lean approach to business optimisation initiatives.
• Define the project goals, landscape, system, processes and customer requirements.
• Measure the KPI’s of the current process by collecting the relevant data and calculate the asist process capability.
• Utilise BPMN 2.0 for process mapping.
• Analyse the data to determine the cause-and-effect relationships and seek out the root causes of the defects.
• Define the project goals, landscape, system, processes and customer requirements.
• Maintain project tasks, milestones, statuses and risks on standardized platforms.
• Close-out project documentation on standardized knowledge repositories.
• Maintain the process repository & strive to keep processes updated.

Requirements

• Knowledge of mathematical modelling, simulation modelling and optimization.
• Extensive knowledge of emerging industry practices when solving business problem.
• Must be passionate and knowledgeable about continuous improvement.
• B.Eng Industrial Engineering (Essential).
• Honours Industrial Engineering (Advantageous).
• 2 years’ experience in Process Improvement (Essential).
• Project Management experience (Advantageous).
