Information Technology Support Technician (Krugersdorp) at Sakata Seed Southern Africa

 Your main tasks will be: 

• Provide basic IT support (checking network, computer, internet, MS Windows, telephones)
• Set up user accounts on Computers and Printers
• Assist with Office 365 user account setups
• Assist with user GAD local server domain setups
• Basic ERP system knowledge (MS NAVISION via Citrix client)
• Work with SAKATA specific applications used in day-to-day business
• EDI portal support and portal management
• Work on a ticketing system

Do you have?

• BTech in Information Technology 
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an IT Support Technician 
• Excellent knowledge of Windows 10/11 
• Azure AD knowledge (will be an advantage) 
• ITSM tool experience
• ITIL principal knowledge 
• Teams Video Configuration system setup and support knowledge (Yealink brand)
• The ability to work independently and show initiative
• Strong accuracy and attention to detail 
• The to speak English fluent - other languages will be an advantage
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and able to work in an organized and methodical manner
• The ability to multi-task and work well in a team
• The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines 

Are you willing to:

• Set up multiple users daily 
• Carry heavy IT equipment (UPS, screens, cabling etc.)
• Travel overseas 
• Work flexible hours when needed
