    Inside Sales Manager South Africa - based in Johannesburg

    About this opportunity 

    As an Inside Sales Manager you will be part of our smart, diverse and fast-moving global team that is moving an industry forward, from analog to digital. We're doing complex work with innovative products including Invisalign clear aligners and the highly advanced iTero intraoral scanner, which give both Doctors and patients an improved experience.

    As Inside Sales Manager, you will be responsible for recruiting and identifying new doctors that will adopt the Invisalign portfolio in South Africa. You will be, based in Johannesburg doing a hybrid sales activation role that involved virtual and F2F interactions with customers in SA.

    In this hybrid role, you will… 

    • Proactively work with existing and new Align customers and practice teams to grow their business with us
    • Recruit and drive new doctors through identification, education, retention and growth pathway.
    • Provide outgoing virtual calls and face to face customer visits to push commercial Initiatives
    • Follow up on leads from the field sales team, company events, marketing, website, contact forms, etc. and convert them into business opportunities
    • Work in close collaboration with Marketing, Field Sales, clinical and Customer Success Teams
    • Track activities in CRM (Salesforce)
    • Be responsible for achieving a sales target.

    In this role, you’ll need … 

    • 3+ years of sales experience
    • A proven track record of on-target achievement
    • The ability to navigate through gatekeepers and identify and influence decision makers
    • To be a team player with good collaboration skills and a desire to work in a high-performing team
    • To be adaptable and open to new ideas and ways of doing business
    • Relationship management skills as you will build and maintain positive connections with customers and colleagues at Align Technology
    • Effectively manage adoption and change management
    • To be based in the Johannesburg area and work in a hybrid role
    • Fluent in English
