    Intermediate Project Engineer (EPC/SMPP Projects)

    • As an Intermediate Project Engineer (EPC/SMPP Projects), you'll be at the forefront of project excellence, collaborating closely with Senior Project Managers and Engineers. Championing technical brilliance throughout every phase of project implementation.
    • Playing a pivotal role in design contribution and meticulous production of project documentation.
    • Managing equipment specifications and selections within project boundaries.
    • Actively engaging with internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure flawless project execution.
    • Upholding meticulous records and reports to keep projects on track.
    • A National Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
    • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in project engineering, ideally within capital equipment or process industries.Construction of SMPP Mining Process Plant experience.

    Key Requirements:

    Technical Engineering:

    • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including drawings, specifications, schedules, and reports.
    • Contribute to technical excellence of the project in engineering deliverable development.
    • Equipment specifications, adjudication and selections in line with project requirements, quality and budget.
    • Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution, particularly at construction/assembly phase.
    • Conduct regular fabrication site visits and inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
    • Proven experience in project engineering, preferably in the capital equipment or process industry.
    • Strong technical background with knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with suppliers and team members.
    • Solid organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Continuously finding new ways to innovate to improve performance and streamline project engineering.
