Intern Category Buyer (EE) at Thales

Job Details:

• Intern will be taught technical duties related to the purchasing of services, supplies and equipment in accordance with Thales established policy, procedures and processes.

Co-ordinate BEE requirements for the business

• Perform and document all BEE inputs for procurement.

Participate together with mentoring of Project Procurement Manager, Bids and Project activities.

• Attend B1&B2 meetings.
• Learn to populate the Procurement Summary sheets.

Other Requirements

• They will be exposed and be taught to work with Procurement ERP systems i.e., SAPByD and E-acquisition i.e., creation of Suppliers on database, auditing of Supplier database.
• Filing of Purchase Orders (PO), Supplier contracts, Bids documentation related to procurement.
• Record keeping of all BOMs and other applicable documentation for Bids and Project.

Education And Skills

• Diploma/ Degree in Supply Chain or Purchasing OR Diploma/ Degree in Finance
