Now let us unpack what your responsibilities will be.

You will be expected to, among others:

• Encourage participation in and provide opportunities for employees to participate in Employee Community Service initiatives.
• Proactively collaborate with Marketing, the Social Media department and other stakeholders to enhance awareness of community and employee engagement activities through various communication and PR channels.
• Assist with the coordination of the Consumer Financial Education strategy and assist with the execution of the Company's Member Bursary Programme.
• Assist with drafting internal communique's and newsletter articles.
• Assist with internal campaigns.

What will ensure that you qualify for this position?

• Completed a Communications, Communications Science or equivalent degree in line with the requirements of the role.
• You must be computer literate and technologically savvy. The ability to edit and develop digital content such as videos and podcasts will be advantageous.
• You must be able to speak English fluently and the ability to speak one other official South African language would be to your advantage.
• You must have the skill to write content for various platforms, aimed at different target audiences with a high level of accuracy.
• You must have the ability to build rapport with individuals and work in a team.
