Job Description

• A well established Financial Services provider is seeking an Internal Audit Controls Specialist to be based out of their offices in Cape Town. The ideal candidate is someone with excellent communication skills, with a keen eye for detail. 

Responsibilities: 

• Responsible for operational audits and reviews 
• Party framework reviews for 3rd parties and support the internal audit team with these reviews. 
• Responsible for IT reviews: Bi annual checks - software modifications, document processes, IT assets, hardware and software 
• Responsible for HR reviews: Bi annual checks - evaluate employee administration processes 
• Documentation of Finance SOPs
• Due diligence reviews 
• Aid CFO with various investigations and evaluations when needed 
• Manage constant improvement of processes within the company 

Requirements: 

• Minimum of a completed tertiary qualification (Bachelors degree in Accounting / SAIPA qualification)
• Minimum of 3 - 5 years internal audit experience 
• Must be a driven, goal oriented individual 
• Must be structured and highly organised
• Working knowledge of IFRS
