Inventory Clerk
- Job Type Full Time
- Qualification Bachelors
- Experience 2 years
- Location Gauteng
- Job Field Procurement / Store-keeping / Supply Chain
Key purpose:
- Maintain stock accuracy, ensuring product put away and picking stock available in the CDC.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Perpetual and Month Stock Counts - Main and Reverse logistics
- SAVs done daily and correct
- Warehouse Stock Rotation is executed (FIFO)
- Mitigate write-off of old stock
- Improve stock integrity
- Investigate stock variances
- Contribute to the improvement of the warehouse Out of Stock situation
- Ensure received stock store timeously and efficiently
- Ensure the right stock is available for picking
- Improve internal customer service
- Correct stock availability
- Stock Write off reduction
- Stock damage in CDC reduction and identify areas to improve
- Reduce stock losses
- Identify Improvement areas
- Share interventions to improve stock accuracy
Qualifications and experience:
- A Logistics/Supply Chain Tertiary Qualification
- 2 year Inventory Control experience
- Forklift/Reach Truck license -Advantageous
