Investor Relations Manager at Old Mutual

Job Description

• Senior Stakeholder Management (internal and external)
• Facilitating external market understanding of the Company and its investment proposition.
• Implementing communication strategies, specifically toward investors, potential investors, analysts, fund managers, experts, economists and capital markets in general
• Communicating various matters related to Old Mutual shares, performance, and Financial Statements.
• Monitoring company performance relative to guidance provided by management.

Service Delivery Management

• Undertaking on-going Investor Relations maintenance activities
• Contribute towards recurring communication activities
• Devise and implement an effective IR programme for the company’s capital
• markets communication
• Monitoring market intelligence
• Developing investor presentations, communications regarding key events e.g.
• results announcements, press releases, scripts and Q&A briefing documents
• Attending meetings / calls with investors and sell-side with senior management as required
• Coordinating key messages and results with Group Cor Finance and
• Strategy
• Developing collateral material for investor communication

Building Key Relationships

• Influencing and securing confidence and buy-in of the investment community (both buy and sell-side).
• Building key relationships with:
• Analysts
• Group Finance
• Business Performance
• Strategy and Corporate Finance
• Internal Communications
• Investor Relations and Media team

Skills and Experience

Education

• Chartered Accountant  (Required), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)(Foreign Qualification)  (Required), Fellow Of Actuarial Society Of South Africa (FASSA)
