Brief Job Description:

To facilitate teacher and learner training on the iPad in primary and secondary schools; predominantly in under-resourced/ township/rural schools

To assist with the integration of the iSchoolAfrica curriculum

Programmes that graduate will be involved in as a facilitator: 

Grade R, Numeracy and Literacy 

The iSchoolAfrica Grade R iPad programme is designed to support the CAPS curriculum by allowing teachers and learners to interact with social stories and learn-through-play activities. iSchoolAfrica is the exclusive South African implementation partner of the Unlocking Talent Through Technology Initiative – bringing the Global XPrize award winning OneBillion Numeracy software to our primary schools. 

iSchoolAfrica Disability and Inclusion programme 

Including and educating learners with diverse educational needs offers numerous challenges. Through the combination of iPad technology and programme support, iSchoolAfrica empowers learners with disabilities. The iSchoolAfrica Inclusion programme includes solutions for children with disabilities such as autism, blind, low-vision, deaf, hard-of-hearing, cerebral palsy, motor functionality, dyslexia and more. 

iSchoolAfrica Coding & Robotics 

iSchoolAfrica brings the Everyone Can Code curriculum to schools. This comprehensive curriculum introduces learners to core coding concepts using Apple’s programming language, Swift. The Everyone Can Code and Develop in Swift curricula take students all the way from writing their first lines of code to building their first apps.

•  Must be prepared to travel to schools across South Africa

•  Willing to contribute to meaningful change and development through education in rural and township areas
