Junior Accountant at Outsourced CFO

Job Description

• We are currently recruiting on behalf of a dynamic accounting firm dedicated to providing comprehensive financial services to a diverse client base. Want to be a part of a leading accounting firm known for its client-centric approach and comprehensive financial solutions? 

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting in the preparation of financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements). 
• Recording and reconciling financial transactions regularly. 
• Assisting in the preparation and filing of tax returns, ensuring compliance. 
• Assisting in the analysis and interpretation of financial data to provide insights. 
• Maintaining and organizing client records and financial documents

Experience:

• Completed articles (SAIPA, SAICA, or CIMA).
• A bachelor's or honours degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Understanding of tax regulations and relevant laws

Requirements:

• Location: Gauteng, hybrid working model.

Skills and or Characteristics:

• Proficiency in accounting software (Xero) and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. 
• SARS and e-filing experience. 
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. 
• Strong organizational and time management skills. 
• Ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and a strong work ethic with a willingness to learn. 
• Integrity and ethical behavior in handling sensitive financial information.
