Junior Analyst at KPMG South Africa

To be able to analyse data (script outputs, software specific data, etc, from the IT systems) provided by the client’s customer and be able to prepare an effective license position based on this data and license entitlement information.

Key Job Duties Or Responsibilities

• Prepare data requests based on the client’s customer license entitlements
• Analyse data provided by the client’s customer
• Analyse license entitlements identified for the client’s customer
• Prepare an effective license position for the client’s customer based on the data provided and license entitlements
• Do a research on software identified at the client’s customer environment
• Prepare filing and working papers based on analysis performed

Critical Technical Skills / Competencies / Knowledge

• Ability to analyse big data sets
• Ability to research
• Knowledge of Excel and/or other data analysis tools
• Basic knowledge of software licensing and software asset management

Advantageous To Have The Following

• Have basic knowledge of IBM software Licensing
• Advance MS Excel skills

Qualifications And Experience

• IT Diploma/Degree or equivalent
• At least 12 months working experience in a role that requires advanced analytical skills
