    Junior Business Operations Coordinator (eCommerce)

    About the role

    • We are seeking a dedicated and personable Junior Business Operations Support team member to join our Business Operations department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing key business software, resolving issues related to business operations, addressing staff inquiries. This role requires excellent organisational & communication skills, a person-first attitude, and the ability to navigate and troubleshoot challenging obstacles sustainably.

    Software Management

    • Manage, monitor & support staff in

    ClickUp

    • Google Suite
    • Harvest
    • HeyTaco
    • Loom
    • Miro
    • Slack
    • WhatsApp
    • ZenPilot

    Operational Efficiencies

    • Logging Staff Leave correctly in ClickUp
    • Improvement to automations/new automations within software
    • Improvement to workflows of virtual and in-office
    • Check that the office phone line is working correctly
    • Support HR in planning social events through research, suggestions & budget planning

    Office Management

    • Inventory management
    • Hardware with IT Manager
    • Groceries with Business Operations Manager
    • Booking boardrooms
    • Staff Onboarding/Offboarding
    • Supporting Simulation Days
    • Managing office access and office-related issues with the Smollan Boardroom Coordinator
    • Supporting the purchase planning of groceries for staff & client events
    • Calculation & supporting purchase of Hey Taco Rewards & Redemptions
    • Managing company WhatsApp groups & their member

    Qualifications

    Education

    • National Senior Certificate/ Matric or equivalent required.
    • Additional coursework in Operations, eCommerce, Project Management or related fields is a plus

    Experience

    • 1 - 3 years previous experience in Operations, preferably in the e-Commerce industry.
    • Required experience using Google Suite
    • Experience using ClickUp, Harvest, HeyTaco, Loom, Miro, Slack or similar business operations software is highly desirable.
