The candidate is expected to teach Auditing as the key priority and any of (Financial Accounting, Managerial Finance & Accounting, and Taxation) in the Department of Accounting and Auditing at undergraduate level in accordance with the requirements of syllabi by presenting lectures, tutorials and practical’s and assisting students with academic problems.
Ensuring that the modules taught complies with the required academic and other standards by compiling lecture notes, study guides and practical manual for approval and that studying remains up to date.
Enhancing knowledge and skills in own field to benefit students and staff by collaborating in research projects, proposing/conducting own research, attending conferences/symposia, publishing/presenting papers and developing links with other academics locally and internationally and participating in the University’s community development program by preparing project proposals and leading/conducting approved projects.
The successful candidate will contribute to the departmental administration by assisting with registration, selection of students, preparing and submitting budgets relevant to own field.
