    Junior Trade Marketing Manager

    Position Summary:

    • Ensure category performance and trade execution is in line with Marketing strategy. Developing category specific trade plans and implementing channel specific projects.

    Your Role

    Outputs:

    Strategic Accountabilities

    • Development of channel specific POS in line with channel strategy
    • Work closely with sales and merchandising team to optimize visibility of POS in store & improve in-store execution. Develop & execute customer promotional plans. Analyse & review regularly results of campaigns & promotions. Develop channel merchandising strategy, including assortment, planograms, point of sale materials.

    Operational Accountabilities

    • Support Sales in customer meeting preparations (e.g. ppt, samples)
    • Produce/support developing planogram proposals
    • Coordinate, support and execute materials for trade shows
    • Internal & external master data maintenance & update.
    • Collaboration with external suppliers and agencies
    • Coordination with production plant & third parties (e.g. co-packers)
    • Support & execute customer merchandising plans according to channel merchandising strategy
    • Develop best in class In-Store Activation strategy along with Brand Managers for new launches
    • Develop yearly promotional plans on category level but also channel and customer level in line with brand guidelines, Sales feedback as well as shoppers' insights.
    • Develop Shopper led Point of Sale Materials
    • Maintain strong contacts with our external partners (POS, promotion and advertising agencies) to develop ad hoc material and trade marketing activities.
    • Analyze and evaluate the market data and monitor competition.
    • Lead and support Pre & post promotions evaluation followed by recommendation for improvements.
    • Develop tools delivering trainings for the sales team on product knowledge & shoppers' profiles
    • Manage Trade Marketing budget & ensure cost policies are applied having in mind optimization between quality & price.
    • Present to top management proposed yearly promotional plans and In-Store Activation Strategies for approval.

    • Thorough knowledge of customers, products, positioning, market and competitor products
    • Experienced in Dunnhumby Insights
    • Thorough knowledge of market best practices
    • Thorough knowledge of composition and application of products

    • Financial commercial understanding

    • Multitasking, flexible, customer-oriented and can-do attitude
    • Strong project management skills
    • Creative skills with interest for latest in-store innovations
    • Analytical, strategic and logical skills and sense for facts and figures

    • Above average literacy, numeracy and computer literacy

    Proficient User Of MS Office Package YOUR SKILLS

    Requirements:

    • Years of Experience: 1- 3 years

    Qualification: Marketing or Business Degree

    • Assessing market requirements and product range life cycles and repositioning and/or relaunching existing products.
    • Joint planning of product category investments
    • Evaluation & decision making
