Key Account Implementation Specialist at Momentum

Purpose of the role:

Building meaningful relationships with identified Key Account IFA businesses is a strategic focus and initiative for MDS. The Key Account implementation specialist will drive the implementation of key account value proposition elements within the Momentum ecosystem.

Key deliverables:

INTERNAL PROCESSES:

• Acquire a thorough understanding of the Key Account’s own strategic objectives, initiatives, needs and requirements
• Create a profile per Key Account providing all stakeholders with a clear understanding of the Key Account
• Create an action plan per Key Account indicating specific objectives, key deliverables with milestones and dates identified for the next 12 months to implement on value proposition elements
• Socialise the objectives and action plan to internal task team and all stakeholders
• Create and manage the alignment between KAM and HOS
• Drive the implementation of value proposition elements with various internal business areas and sales areas to execute on the action plan
• Successfully control, execute, monitor and communicate Key Account engagement journeys
• Communicate progress on the implementation plan with all stakeholders
• Prepare Key Account engagement packs for meetings
• Direct issues or areas of concern raised by Key Accounts or HOS to Product Houses and drive to resolution
• Ensure proficiency on all solutions and products
• Ensure that the various business rules, house views and philosophies are adhered to
• System / advice tools training
• Workshops/ Training

CLIENT

• Contribute to the process of negotiating objective and realistic service level agreements, monitor appropriateness and recommend adjustments
• Deliver on service level agreements made with clients and internal and external stakeholders in order to ensure that client expectations are managed.
• Make recommendations to improve client service and fair treatment of clients within area of responsibility.
• Participate and contribute to a culture which builds rewarding relationships, facilitates feedback and provides exceptional key account
• Provide advice, product and engagement support / Service to advisers
• Understand and possess knowledge of IFA practice (Practice Insights)

Qualification

• Degree in Business Management degree
• A relevant tertiary qualification BCom or BCom Honours
• Certified Financial Planner or working towards it advantageous

Experience:

• 3-5 years’ experience in corporate business development / corporate client service, or marketing within a financial services environment
• Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in Corporate client servicing and sales
