    Key Account Manager

    Qualification and Experience

    • MBA (or equivalent) from recognized university. BE in Electronics or Computers would be preferred.
    • 5-7 years of experience in direct selling of S/W products and solutions.

    Technical Skills : 

    • Knowledge of S/W development process and Document management technologies.
    • Understanding competitive products.
    • Preparing tender documents and proposals.
    • Understanding of the application of the product in a particular industry.

    Managerial, Personal and Leadership skills

    • Knowledge of all the marketing and management concepts.
    • Good interpersonal skills to interact with the clients.
    • Excellent Oral and Written skills and good presentation skills.
    • Understanding of the S/W product market dynamics.
    • Understanding of the S/W development quality management process.
    • Understanding of the industry segment and industries in an area allocated for functioning.
    • Good negotiation skills.
    • Customer relationship management

    Role & Responsibility:

    • Devising sales plan & schedule
    • Prospecting clients with the presentation of the product/ brochure/ literature
    • Arranging for demonstrations of the product
    • Convincing the client about the product and collecting specific requirements
    • Discussing the requirements with the regional sales managers
    • Negotiate the requirements with the client, if necessary
    • Prepare the Marketing Requirement Document incorporating the proposal and order received.
    • Acquiring the purchase order / Letter of Intent (LOI) from the customer and sending it to corporate office along with Order Execution Advice for further processing.
    • Follow-up on delivery to the customer 
    • Delivery of the product to the customer and installation of the same
    • Collection of payments
    • Ensuring that all documents relevant to the deal are properly filed (tender, purchase order, offer etc.)
    • Assisting in formulation of sales strategy
    • Carrying out market research for newer market segments
