Job Description

• Testing of Soya Oil Cake and byproducts to ensure quality of products.

Requirements

• Grade 12/ NQF4
• Relevant tertiary qualification will serve as recommendation
• Previous experience in a similar role is essential
• Good mathematical/analytical skills
• Willing to work overtime when required

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure correct testing according to specifications.
• Ensure that specifications are in range to prevent financial losses.
• Daily testing of raw materials and final products according to VKB's policy and procedure to ensure quality products.
• Obtain samples for testing according to the prescribed specification and VKB standards.
• Accurate record keeping of all sample results.
• Report any problems with testing raw materials and final products to management.
• Ensuring that the laboratory and equipment are kept in a neat and clean state.
• Comply continuously to the Quality Control Policy according to internal quality control and legislation to ensure the quality of the product.
• Comply with Occupational Health and Safety requirements and Food safety requirements as per standards and procedures.
• To liaise with internal departments on an ongoing basis to ensure quality service and products.
• To successfully complete all allocated training interventions by direct manager.
