    Lead Specialist , Events planning

    Key Activities & Responsibilities

    • Liaises with event owners on a regular basis to discuss events already working on and upcoming events to start planning
    • Ensures all HCP’s are invited using the correct compliance process (as dictated in country)
    • Ensures all HCP information is stored effectively with GDPR and Compliance policies in mind
    • Supports and mentors team members with complex event needs
    • Works with key stake holders and report progress of event calendar
    • Regular review of processes to ensure updates to any regulations, compliance policies are updated.
    • Adheres to all current Event processes
    • Monitors and reports on delegate registrations
    • Monitors and reports on a regular basis budget, working closely with finance
    • Supplier account management
    • Ensures timely payments of 3rd party suppliers
    • Works with Prof Affairs for all KOL interactions and High Risk Payments
    • Works with local marketing/commercial to ensure timely booking of flights/hotels etc
    • Ensures Country Specific Requirements are met
    • Adheres to the Franchise and Compliance Events strategy. To be involved with a detailed review of all processes, procedures, methods and tools to determine adequacy to meet the current requirements for the events planning service.
    • Ensures all KPI’s are monitored effectively and achieved.
    • Assists in maintaining a culture of continuous improvement of service provided to our customers.
    • Builds and maintains relationships with other Functions while driving leverage opportunities across the areas.
    • Ensures all Compliance, SOX, FCPA and Quality policies are implemented and applied in any undertaking of events planning.
    • Deals directly with sales force / product managers in relation to Event Reviews on a regular basis.
    • Liaises with all the major functions of the business with a given guideline such as Business units, Compliance, Finance and more to achieve key activities on a local, European and / or cross-divisional level.
    • Works with all virtual event platforms required by the business
    • All GRT work to be completed for both TPEC’s and Educational Grant requests as per current process

    Education

    Essential:

    • College equivalent qualifications

    Desired:

    • Bachelor’s Degree

    Experience

    Essential:

    • 2+ year’s previous event management experience or project planning
    • Fluent and skilled in local language as well as English
    • Ability to work out of standard working hours to meet the event requirements
    • Confidence with virtual event platforms and their features

    Desirable

    • Work experience in a Medical Device company
    • Knowledge of MedTech Europe Compliance Good excel working knowledge
    • Good Excel working knowledge
    • Cvent event management system
    • Good problem-solving skills
    • Flexibility to be able to support business needs for events
