Be in possession of full N2 qualifications with 4 x subjects i.e., Engineering Mathematics, Engineering Science, N2 Rigging Trade theory and Engineering Drawing
Be declared medically fit for the position and environment, as determined by a risk-based medical examination at the Gold Fields Occupational Health Centre and pass a Heat Tolerance Screening test, and such other tests as may be required to assess the applicant’s suitability for employment

Duties and Responsibilities:
Undergoing technical training as prescribed by MQA and short courses as required by the mine during the Learnership Maintain consistent performance
Initiating developmental discussions
Seeking feedback
Adhering to the company`s conditions of employment, policies and code of conduct
Abide by all health and safety rules / regulations applicable on the mine.
Promoting of teamwork and being an effective team member.
Wearing all the prescribed personal protective equipment (PPE) while on mine/ at the training centre
