Learning and Development Facilitator (Operations) at RCL Foods

Job Description    

• RCL FOODS is on the lookout for a Learning and Development Facilitator Operations to join our Groups Service division. The role will be based in Malelane and report to the Leaning and Development Specialist (Operations). RCL foods is looking for a highly organized and skilled individual who can deliver results, meet the customers’ expectations and work well under handle pressure.
• RCL FOODS entrusts the Learning and Development Facilitator to Identify competency gaps, design and develop learning material, align methodologies to facilitate operations training interventions and evaluate and report on the impact of the training interventions.

Minimum Requirements    

• Relevant qualification in Occupational Directed Education, Training and Development Practices (OD ETDP)
• Assessor certificate
• 3 to 5 years’ experience in a Packaging/FMCG environment
• Understanding of Packaging machines (Hesser, Foam, Fill & seal, Balers, Stretch wrap and Fawema)
• People management skills and passion for training
• Must be a creative individual with innovative ideas
• Excellent Presentation and communication skills
• Quick decision-making ability and initiating action

Duties & Responsibilities    

• Consultation Services to Line Management
• Identify Competency Gaps, Design and Develop Training Material and Assessment Tools
• Implement and Facilitate Training Interventions
• Assess Practical and Theoretical Learning Outcomes
• Execute Moderation Duties
• Evaluate Impact of Training Interventions (ROI)
• Reporting, General Co-ordination and Training Administration
• Perform SHEQ Training and Departmental Responsibilities
• Make operational decisions that fall within the ambit of responsibility
• Solve most operational and resourcing problems within the ambit of responsibility
• Identify and implement limited innovations, particularly those that will focus the training and learning and improve its impact.
