Sports Co-ordinator at Rustenburg Girls'​ High School

Duties and Responsibilities    
This position includes the following duties:

• Assist the Director of Sport in the running of the Sports Department at this 132 year old public school
• Co-ordinate and administer the Sport Codes allocated by the Director of Sport, ensuring that they are effectively managed, coached and umpired/ refereed.
• Teach GET Physical Education classes as required.
• Organise and assist with incoming and out-going sports tours
• Assist with school hosted Tournaments, Inter-house and Alumnae events

Minimum Requirements    
The successful candidate will have the following skills/experience:

• 2+ years’ experience in sports co-ordination an/or administration is essential. 
• Experience coaching a sport, or qualifications in sports coaching would be an advantage.
• Specific knowledge and experience of water polo and/or netball would be advantageous. Please list all relevant details in your application.
• Experience in a school environment would be an advantage.
• Strong Admnistrative and Computer skills, including email and spreadsheets are essential.
• Highly organized and efficient, with a pro-active and positive personality.
• Enjoys working with teenagers.
• Good communication skills, including inter-personal telephone skills
• Willing to play a full part in the life of a busy school.
