A Doctoral degree in Entomology or an associated field.
Teaching experience at a tertiary institute.
Research experience supported by either a publication record in DHET-accredited journals, a successful postgraduate supervision record or successful research funding.

Duties:
Teach undergraduate and honours courses in Entomology and any other courses assigned to you by the Head of Department.
Participate in regular recurriculation of modules or programme reviews.
Develop research within the areas of entomology or associated fields.
Attract research funding.
Supervise BSc Honours, MSc and PhD students.
Participate in community engagement.
Any other responsibilities assigned by the Head of Department.
The successful candidate will be required to register for a Postgraduate diploma in Higher Education.
