About The Job

• Protect and support Danone’s business, innovations and assets by designing and implementing the optimal legal and regulatory framework. Build awareness of Laws and Danone policies related to products and corporate matters. Ensure their application within Danone and by third parties

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Contribute to the new GS organisation implementation by managing cluster Legal & Regulatory and Compliance matters
• Oversee Legal & Regulatory and compliance activities for South Africa and its export markets
• Protect and support Danone's business, innovations and assets by ensuring the optimal legal and regulatory framework (including contracts, sales and distribution, consumers, advertising and promotion, products, Company law & regulations, intellectual property & media, dispute resolution, competition law & anti-trust, advocacy

CODI Partnering

• Inform / Support GMs / CODI on Legal & Regulatory / Compliance matters

About you

Qualification(s)

• LLB Degree with an accredited and recognized legal tertiary institution
• 5 Years’ experience in an FMCG organization leading company legal and compliance matters
• Ability to communicate clearly legal recommendations
• Collaborative mindset & attitudes and ability to develop networks internally and externally
• Business Acumen
• Good communication and negotiation skills (willingness to develop and grow expertise on various legal topics)
• Fluent in English

Experience And Skills

• Senior expert of Legal & Regulatory and Compliance activities) need 5 years of experience)
• Spokesperson & crisis management experience
• Solid experience in management
• Significant external network with key stakeholders
