You will be responsible for drafting, editing and reviewing contractual agreements, in particular insurance policies and product disclosure statements.
You will be required to identify any unfair contractual terms in the agreements based on general insurance and business principles and remedy such unfair contractual terms by editing clauses and drafting new appropriate wording.
You may also be required to do a quality control assessment before the documents are returned to the client. Attention to detail and consistency is key.
Requirements
2 – 5 years’ experience in commercial and contract law, with contract drafting experience, is mandatory. Specialised experience in the Insurance Industry would be preferable.
Due to tight deadlines, minimum training will be provided and, therefore, you will need to have the requisite skills and capabilities to perform that task at hand efficiently and accurately and deliver a high quality product.
