Livestock Transport Driver at Alistair Group

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely transport livestock between locations, ensuring animal welfare and regulatory compliance during transit.
• Maintain and operate the vehicle in accordance with road safety and environmental standards.
• Ensure the truck is loaded and unloaded correctly, ensuring the proper handling of livestock.
• Regularly inspect the truck to ensure it remains in safe working condition.
• Adhere to all legal and safety guidelines for livestock transportation.

Additional Requirements:

• Valid professional driving license (Code 14) for heavy vehicle/truck operation.
• Proven experience in livestock transportation, with a strong understanding of animal welfare during transport.
• A clean driving record, demonstrating safe and responsible driving behaviour.
• At least 5 years driving experience

Other Considerations:

• Flexibility and the ability to travel to different locations as required by the contract.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to live and work in the truck for the duration of the contract.
