Logistics and Inventory Manager | Craft Liquor Merchants | Johannesburg at Managed People Solutions

Responsibilities Includes

• Manage the procurement process and the supply base efficiently and effectively.
• Apply effective communication strategies to ensure supply chain alignment in other departments to coordinate inventory management activities.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, monitor supplier performance.
• Anticipate unfavorable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies.
• Establish key performance indicators and alerts to ensure optimal Inventory Management operations.
• Optimizing logistics costs.
• Leading exercises to identify key areas of opportunity.
• Improve engagement with key stakeholders and establish communication channels between the cross functional teams.
• Monitor inventory levels and inventory movements, review inventory reports (quantity, product, stock on hand, exceptions, etc.).
• Communication to relevant parties regarding queries.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or Degree in operations, supply chain, engineering or other relevant field.
• 10 years Management experience in the fields of supply chain, logistics.
• Liquor Legislation
• Export Legislation
• Financial Management (Beneficial)
