Job Description

• To provide support on inventory management, daily cycle counts, as well as assisting with global inventory projects. Management of intercompany and direct export shipments. Support rendered to branches and internal customers with regards to orders and deliveries.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Consolidation of daily cycle count results of all branches.
• Handling of daily cycle counts in Springs for all stores (gland packing, mech seals and raw material)
• Communication of cycle count results to Service Center Managers and Supply Chain Manager.
• Investigation of discrepancies in location inventory quantities on picking lists and communication of these
• discrepancies to relevant store personnel to ensure discrepancies are investigated and corrected.
• Analysis and reports on exception code 20 order cancellations.
• Attending inventory management meetings.
• Working on inventory projects received from Global Inventory team
• Assist with stock take at various service centers and Springs.
• Running VL10B report to expedite branch transfers and intercompany STO’s.
• Ensuring VL06O for all open picking lists is kept up to date
• Shipping of intercompany orders
• Shipping of any direct export orders
• Ensuring all picking lists handled by gland packing and seal stores are closed on time
• Ensure all stores personnel for both stores keep 5S up to standard
• Raising of requisitions for any consumables required by both stores
• Liaising with courier companies on collection of orders and branch stock.

The Individual
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Grade 12 or Diploma or Similar
• 5 Years’ relevant work experience.
• Experience of working in a multinational and multicultural environment
• Technical knowledge would be advantageous.
   

KEY COMPETENCIES:

• Excellent MS Office background.
• SAP system knowledge.
• Knowledgeable about install base inventory.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft programs and data extraction.
