Logistics Coordinator at RCL Foods

Minimum Requirements:

• Have completed a 3-year Tertiary Qualification (National Diploma or Bachelors Degree)
• Majored in Supply Chain, Logistics or similar related Discipline
• 3 to 6 years' work experience within a Supply Chain role where you've been responsible for planning and costing stock, gaining a thorough understanding of logistics & distribution principles and practices
• High level of competency in computer literacy in MS Office, particularly in Excel
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate well with a variety of stakeholders
• In order to effectively execute the duties attached to the position, applicants should be mature, adaptable, able to thrive under pressure, self-driven, able to use their own initiative and supplemented with excellent interpersonal skills
• To be considered for appointment, the candidate must be a South African citizen.

Duties & Responsibilities:

System / data management:

• Plan for the build of a system
• Lead the build of a system
• Manage the system
• Build models to assist with planning, costing, and budgeting
• Calculating models for the number of meals provided by the foundation

Logistics

• Porridge
• Porridge Production forecasts
• Planning porridge
• Orders from Randfontein
• Beneficiary planning based on funder contributions
• Beneficiary deliveries confirmation
• S18A receipts
• Collecting and accurately capturing beneficiary data of children, meals provided etc
• Manage the monthly stock reconciliation and stock counts
• Calculation of the profit/loss on stock sales
• Assist the partnership team with proposal budgets based on porridge data
• Assist the partnership team with submitting funder reports with supply of data
• Vetting all organizations that the foundation works with
• Reconciliation of funder invoices to groceries account
• Attending RTO feedback & support meetings for logistics support
• Attending to all queries relating to porridge distribution
