Logistics Project Manager at DSV

NB: This role is based in Centurion with a large amount of travel between DSV Branches in Gauteng            

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: 

• To coordinate a number of key projects within the DSV Group. 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Manage the interactions between the projects and the teams involved. 
• Align the interfaces between large projects affecting the Africa region to confirm alignment between the projects
• Help drive key decisions in the project, making sure that the decisions don’t affect the other interlinking projects
• Report to the South Africa Exco team on the process of this projects
• Bring to the attention key items that the CEO needs to know or get involved in
• Drive all this projects to make sure they are completed on time
• Be able to project manage a number of small projects as well

JOB RELATED REQUIREMENTS:

• The successful person would have project management experience of 5+ years.
• They would have experience in manageing project sizes upward of 50 mil at least.
• Experience in the logistics industry would be highly advatageous.
• Experience in property projects would be advantageous.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Matric Essential

• Project management qualification / certification e.g. Princes2

• Degree in Industrial Engineering would be a strong advantage

This role is roughly a 1 year contract position. The candidate would have the opportunity to apply for permanent roles at the end of their contract should there be any vacancies available at the time.
