Join Lactalis at our Bonnievale Plant in the Powder department with the main responsibilities for disassembling and assembling powder plants for CIP process. Successful candidate must have knowledge of CIP process. Must have at least 2 years experiences within a manufacturing environment. Be fluent in English and be computer literate.
Required Skills
Grade 12 or equivalent
At least 2 years experiences within a manufacturing environment
Must be willing to work shifts, overtime, on weekends and public holidays
Physical strength and good health to move pallets and weighing of 25kg bags
Knowledge of complex equipment and be able to operate all the equipment in the Powder factory.
Must have complete basic dairy training.
Basic computer skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
To be accurate and have a sharp sense of punctuality.
To be reliable, trustworthy, pro-active and energetic.

Able to work with people.
Must be willing to work in an extremely humid environment

Duties & Responsibilities
Responsibility for disassembling and assembling powder plants for CIP process.
Filling and weighing of 25kg bags
Packing, labelling and wrapping of pallets
Preparing of whey, skim-milk-powder and buttermilk bags
Cleaning of high risk area during and after production
Disassembling, cleaning and assembling and of atomiser parts
Disassembling and assembling powder plants for CIP process
General cleaning of Powder factory areas
Assist process system supervisor at weekly inspection on evaporators and MVR
Cleaning of sweeping area once a week
Help with the cleaning of separator parts when services are done quarterly
Report any mechanical defects in filling area
Report quality deviations (burn particles) in products if it occurs during the filling of bags.
