Maintenance Assistant - Nelspruit at RCL Foods

• The role will be based in Nelspruit and report to the Maintenance Manager.

Minimum Requirements   

• Matric or any related qualification
• Must have technical skills and experience of at least 1-2 years.
• Ability to communicate with English
• Willing to work overtime
• Shift work
• Verbal and written communication
• Deadline driven and can work under pressure.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.
• Basic mechanical and maintenance skills
• Ability to take, understand and execute instructions

Duties & Responsibilities    

• Assist artisan with civil/ mechanical, Electrical maintenance and repairs.
• Good housekeeping and familiar with health and safety and hygiene.
• Administration of OHS Act requirement
• Ensure adherence to all ISO 9001 and 22000 standards and procedures.
• Be part of high performance team.
• Work according to Standards Operating Procedures (SOP)
• Completion of maintenance tasks
• Maintenance work on buildings
