Developing and implementing maintenance strategies such as preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime and operational disruptions.
Driving LEAN and PM activities with the Maintenance team, including Kaizens.
Leading maintenance projects with responsibility for maintenance related Capex.
Budgeting and resource management - optimize maintenance costs while maintaining high standards.
Leading and supervising the maintenance team, including employee development.
Conducting inspections and audits of machinery and facilities to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Collaborating with other departments such as Production, Quality Assurance, and Health & Safety to ensure smooth operations and minimize downtime.
Responding to emergencies such as equipment breakdowns, troubleshooting issues, and implementing corrective actions promptly.
Qualifications and Skills we are looking for:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering preferred.
10 years’ experience in maintenance with at least 3 to 5 years in management.
Government Certificate of Competency for Mechanical and Electrical Engineers.
Technical report writing will be an advantage, good knowledge of HSE and Government Regulations required.
Proficient in computerised maintenance management systems.
