• Introduction The Clicks Group are on the hunt for an exceptional Management Accountant to provide financial information and administrative support to the Unicare & Kwamathi business units.

Job description

Job Objectives

• To ensure that all reporting is accurate and timely, including weekly scorecard and monthly management reporting
• To investigate business challenges and issues and determine the most effective resolution.
• To assist with month end procedures, and processing of journal entries where required
• General ledger account analysis for both balance sheet and income statement accounts
• To ensure adherence to budgets
• To facilitate a smooth procurement process and manage vendor payments
• To perform cost analysis to enable influence on cost drivers.
• To support a streamlined/effective approval process of costs (opex and capex).
• To ensure the management and maintenance of effective vendor relationships and the procurement process (applications, internal registrations, AP queries).
• Assist with budgeting preparation
• Assist with the Capex process 
• To support an effective document maintenance or retrieval system for internal and external auditors.

Minimum requirements

Qualifications

• BCom Accounting/ Financial Management or similar

Job Experience:

• 3-5 years’ experience in finance / management accounting
• Experience working in the Retail industry (Desirable)
• SAP exposure advantageous

 Job Knowledge:

• SAP Finance
• Understanding of accounting systems;
• Performing reconciliations
• Accounting standards and principles
