Job Description

• Mr Price Group Logistics, Distribution Center based in Hammarsdale has an exciting opportunity for dynamic, highly organized and detailed orientated graduates to join our DC team. Graduates will be thoroughly integrated into our business with the purpose of equipping them with the necessary knowledge, skills and exposure vital for success.

Responsibilities

• Unique opportunity to gain valuable work experience and exposure through rotation across specified Logistics/ Supply Chain processes within the business for a period of 18 months
• A holistic view of the business as well as understanding of the inter-relationships between different functions across the business. 
• Coaching and mentoring from leaders within the business to assist in unlocking the individual’s full potential.
• Training and development initiatives that will provide the necessary leadership skills and knowledge which intends to prepare the trainee for future leadership roles within the organization.
• Candidates will be primarily based in Hammarsdale DC, with an opportunity to rotate, learning across different divisions within the Group

Qualifications

• Diploma/ degree in Operations Management/ Supply Chain Management/ Logistics Management
• Passion for production or operations environment
• Understanding of lean principles and continuous improvement
• Previous experience in production/ warehousing/ manufacturing environment would be an added advantage
• Agile learners who are committed to self-development
• Individuals who demonstrate leadership qualities
• Good analytical and problem resolving capabilities
• Willingness to learn and take initiative
