Manager: Marketing Insights at Capitec Bank

About the role

We are seeking a strategic leader to build a marketing insights powerhouse team leveraging insights from SA’s biggest retail banking client base.

• To develop and manage a Marketing insights function for predictive Client data insight management as part of Client engagement and Marketing Optimisation.
• To proactively support and drive Marketing and Client Engagement’s best use of the organisation’s data and intelligence to accelerate value to clients, business partners and other stakeholders.

What you will bring

• An Honours degree in Data Science, Business Administration, Statistics or Mathematics

5 years relevant data and analytics and management experience including:

• Client behaviour science and insights
• Experience of creating frameworks, roadmaps and processes
• Collaborating, contracting and securing support and information supply cross functionally in order to achieve objectives.
• Proven experience of using influence and relationships to drive and achieve objectives
• Marketing and Data related legislative and regulatory requirements, especially anti money laundering.
• Predictive analytics
• Statistical software (ex. SAS, R, Python)
• Database querying software (ex. SQL)
• Cloud computing (ex. Azure, Hadoop, Spark)

Ideally you also have

• AWS Tools and Insights
• Data Science
• Data product Life Cycle
• Experience of creating a data strategy
• Senior stakeholder insights presentation experience
