ERM is looking for a passionate and motivated Consultant to join our rapidly growing Capital Project Delivery Team in South Africa. The role is an exciting opportunity to help deliver a range of critical capital projects across Africa for our global clients.

As part of the continued growth of our services, ERM is looking for applicants at a Managing Technical Consultant Level, who have experience delivering Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) projects internationally throughout Sub-Saharan Africa. The applicant would require an in-depth understanding of, and experience in the application of lenders’ E&S requirements - including the IFC Performance Standards and the Equator Principles as a minimum. In addition to ESIA services, the consultant should have experience in performing ESIA gap assessments and lenders E&S due diligence assessments.
Subject to meeting the above requirements, preference may be given to applicants with experience in projects in the offshore environment (subsea cables, offshore oil & gas, marine ports, and offshore wind); mining, and/or large-scale infrastructure (roads, rail dams etc.).
